Helen Gianchand
Helen Gianchand is a Certified Public Accountant with many years in the field of general accounting, audit and taxation. She has worked in a private auditing firm, as well as in advertising and finance companies before working full-time in CHC’s finance department.

Members’ personal data is very sensitive in nature. We’re not just talking about addresses and contact numbers; but counselling reports and history of issues, etc. A leak in confidential information would lead to distress, embarrassment, and even emotional damage. This session will discuss the common problems of a breach in cyber security and how steps can be taken to prevent such leaks.

Matthias Yeo
Matthias Yeo is a Board Member and the Head of the IT committee in CHC. He is a co-founder of a cyber security company (Momentum Z) that helps organisations protect their data. He was formerly the Chief Technology Officer of Symantec and Blue Coat.

Little foxes spoil the vine. Protect your church by creating a strong policy framework to guide decisions and behaviour. In this workshop, you will learn how to set up a framework, and how to craft policies that guide and safeguard your church. Understand the difference between policies and processes, and learn how to ensure compliance.

Sandra Tan is the Policy Manager of CHC, involved in the setting up of various church policies, processes and guidelines.

Lighting plays a very important role in a worship service. Participants of this workshop will learn the basic system layout for dimmable and non-dimmable lights, as well as basic troubleshooting techniques, and more.

Alex Foo / Nicole Tay
Alex Foo and Nicole Tay have extensive experience working on lighting systems, not just in CHC, but also in other productions in the lighting industry. They are the main engineers behind CHC’s service lightings and key trainers of the volunteers in the church’s Lighting Ministry.

In this workshop, you will learn the art of developing visual collaterals that communicate effectively to all you wish you reach. You will also learn how to develop a creative process for designing for a special event or theme.

Amy Tan
Amy Tan is a senior Graphics Designer with many years of experience. Her creative flair is seen in many of the church’s events and collaterals.

Podcasts are powerful as the word lives on beyond the weekend church service. This workshop will teach you how to record your content, package it and send it out to your members in simple, practical steps, without the need for expensive software.

Bernard Loh
Bernard Loh is the programme producer of CHC’s radio station. He has been involved in the running of City Radio since its inception and is responsible for training, hosting, packaging and producing radio podcast programmes weekly.

Every drama begins with a script. We take you behind the scenes where stories are created to carry the desired message to your audience. Learn how to find inspiration for your stories and conceive characters that will add intrigue into the storyline. Other aspects such as developing themes, writing the plot and pitching the story will also be taught.

Carol Marsh
Carol Marsh started her journey as a dramatist in CHC Drama Ministry in 2007. A decade later, her love for writing spurred her to study scriptwriting for film and television. She enjoys creating stories with a whimsical touch which is evident in CHC’s Christmas and Easter productions “A Star Across Time” and “The J Factor”.

A message can only create impact if it is well understood. This workshop will reveal the keys to effective translation and interpretation in church. Learn what makes a good interpreter, particularly for sermons, and discover guiding principles in interpretation and translation that will help you communicate your message powerfully.

Chua Xiu Wen
Chua Xiu Wen serves as a full-time Chinese interpreter in church. She has had many years of experience in translation and interpretation, both on stage and off stage. She has also helped trained many interpreters locally and overseas.

Learn how to organise a video production team made up of volunteers. This workshop will teach you basic technical setup, volunteer training for image composition, communication within the team, working with other departments (e.g. visual communications, audio and lights), and more.

Danielle Ho is the head of the CityTV Ministry at CHC and has more than 15 years of experience running the ministry together with lay leaders. A workshop for current and aspiring directors that covers the theory as well as essential, practical skills of directing. Topics covered include script analysis, auditions and casting, the rehearsal process, techniques in staging and blocking, as well as working with actors. These skills will equip you to direct your church drama productions effectively.

Jaslynn Khoo
Jaslynn Khoo has directed more than 50 plays and large-scale drama productions for CHC. With her previous work experience as a producer in MediaCorp Singapore, she is passionate in expressing concepts and values through drama as a director and actor. Jaslynn is also the resident Acting Trainer of CHC’s Drama Ministry.

Learn how to put together your Order Of Service (OOS) and rehearsal schedule effectively to ensure a smooth execution and operation every weekend. Michael Chan & Daniel Poh are CHC’s full-time photographers. Besides taking pictures in church, they are also experienced in various genres of photography in the marketplace. They help facilitate CHC’s Photography Ministry and train volunteer photographers.

Sean Aaron / Gabriel Yang
Sean Aaron is an Animator by training with a passion for communicating thoughts and ideas visually. He loves to combine the visual flair of a VFX Artist with the design methodology of a Graphic Designer to create visually stunning as well as meaningful pieces of animated works. Gabriel Yang is a Visual Designer passionate about telling great stories and bringing designs to life.

This is a workshop for aspiring actors. Participants will learn the basics of acting, such as how to analyse a scene and how to act realistically. This interactive workshop will cover the fundamentals of acting, and includes acting exercises where participants can gain some practical hands-on experience.

Sheila Jang
Sheila Jang has been serving in CHC’s Drama Ministry for the past 13 years as both an actress and an assistant director. A librarian by training, Sheila is passionate about the performing arts and its power to move and inspire. She is currently the manager of Singapore’s only public library dedicated to the performing arts.

Teo Meishan, Moses Chua and Toh Chin Kiat are prophetic artists in CHC’s Prophetic Art Ministry. They are proficient in painting, and seek to deliver God’s Word and His promise to His people through prophetic art. Using their God-given talent, they desire to minister and bring encouragement through this medium.

Thomas Poi is a Design Trainer by profession, mastering technical skills for more than 20 years, and always curious about how things work. Jeffrey Choong has 20 years of dabbling in the design world, with experiences ranging from web design to motion graphics and 3D animation.

It’s not all doom and gloom because your meetings are on Zoom. This workshop teaches you how to utilise the features and settings of Zoom to maximise and support your meetings and events. Discover the inside tricks and tips to make your virtual meeting more engaging, innovative and interactive.

Woo Zhi Shen
Woo Zhi Shen is an Events Executive at CHC. He has been involved in the coordination and operations of various on-site and online events and is currently serving as a ministry leader in CHC Events Ministry.

Five members during an SOT mission trip kickstarted CHC’s missions movement, which now has more than 100 members embarking on over 100 engagement events yearly across Southeast Asia. This workshop will touch on three keys for a successful Missions Ministry and three guiding principles for those who are current and aspiring ministry leaders in missions.

Chua Kim Peng
Chua Kim Peng is a leader and a trainer in the finance industry for more than 20 years. He is also holds a Senior Lieutenant Colonel (NS) rank in the army and serves as the Commander in an NS Brigade. He and his wife, Lee Keng, co-lead Missio Dei Harvest, the Missions Ministry of CHC with more than 20 leaders, 20 coordinators and about 100 ministry members.

Engaging church members and guests on an online platform is completely different from engaging them face to face. In this workshop, you will learn how to navigate the digital space to bring the warmth of God to those attending service online.

Daniel Yong / Joseph Neo
Daniel Yong and Joseph Neo help to run the Greeters Ministry in CHC. Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the ministry has evolved along with the season and moved their operations online to support the online weekend services. Daniel and Joseph were involved in the move and training of the volunteers for their new roles.

Dr. Lim Koon Jin
Dr. Lim Koon Jin is the founding partner of Crisis Relief Singapore, which was founded to bring God’s love into crisis-affected nations through medical and relief aid. He has led many teams and partnered local hosts to train and serve the community overseas. In 2013, CHC’s Healthcare Fellowship was founded for the purpose of engaging healthcare professionals within the church.

Games are a great way to warm up a crowd, even an online crowd. Learn how to use readily available online games to engage your members during Zoom Cell Group or Zone meetings. Learn what makes a good game, and discover how to build teamwork through games and make your online meetings as engaging as your in-person gatherings.

Elisa Ng
Tasked at her workplace with team bonding activities over Zoom during the pandemic, Elisa Ng has been creative in coming up with ways to keep participants engaged. With her experience, she has no problems connecting with youths via Zoom games during Cell Group and Zone meetings.

This workshop will outline the elements that are crucial in preparing and conducting digital Cell Group Meetings, ensuring optimal engagement of attendees while not diluting the spiritual atmosphere. Learn how to make meaningful connections using online tools like Zoom and other resources.

Johann Sim
Johann Sim is an experienced Pastoral Supervisor who currently oversees 21 Cell Groups and over 400 members. He is passionate about connecting and engaging members on a personal level.

People go to church to meet with God, but the first people they meet when they get there are the Greeters or Ushers. The Greeters Ministry is the first experience newcomers have of your church, and receiving a warm welcome can make all the difference. In this workshop, learn the Why and How of setting up and growing a Greeters Ministry for your church.

Liew Mei Fang / Wong Yung Yeow
Liew Mei Fang and Wong Yung Yeow are dedicated Greeters Ministry volunteers who run the ministry and serve on a weekly basis. Their aim is to make members of the congregation, visitors and newcomers feel welcomed, accepted and valued each time they come to church.

Oh Yan Ming is a Cell Group Leader at CHC, co-leading nine young adult Cell Groups with his wife. He works as a senior solutions architect in Amazon’s ASEAN cloud innovation center, helping to transform the public sector through the innovative use of modern day digital technologies.

Have a passion and heart for the elderly and want to serve them in their golden years? In this workshop, you will learn how to engage and befriend the elderly, and how to effectively share the gospel with them. You will also learn the key steps to setting up a ministry to the elderly in your church.

Pastor Maria Tok
Ps. Maria Tok oversees CHC’s Dialect Service. With a connection and a knack for engaging the elderly, Ps. Maria has often led the parents of CHC staff to the Lord. She has been serving the elderly for the past 20 years and is well loved by the elderly in her congregation.

When God calls you to uproot yourself and move to a place that is unfamiliar, He will give you grace to face the unfamiliar. How can you know for sure that you are in the place God has called you to be? This workshop will teach you how to integrate in a new culture, manage being far away from home, and achieve balance in missions, ministry and family.

Pastor Sun Ai Zhen
Ps. Sun Aizhen is a Taiwanese who is based in Singapore. As someone who has had to integrate into a different culture, Ps Aizhen has a passion for sharing her experiences. A mother of three, she is no stranger to the challenges of balancing motherhood and ministry.

Making disciples begins with grounding them in the Word of God. This workshop will teach you how to design a curriculum to help your members grow in their knowledge and love for the Bible. Stanley Yew is a Cell Group Leader and a Board Member in CHC. He is also a businessman who runs multiple tuition centres. His Cell Group has conducted countless overseas mission trips and now, online missions since the pandemic started.

Yong Kuan Wen
Yong Kuan Wen is a father of four who has worked in the petrochemical industry for the past 24 years. Since he came to CHC as a young man, Kuan Wen has served extensively in the Chinese Service department; from a Cell Group helper, to a Cell Group leader. He also served in other aspects of the Chinese Service operations, such as audio, men’s ministry and visitation.

The COVID-19 pandemic has driven most meetings online; even the way we conduct church now involves the use of digital platforms. Find out what we at HarvestKidz have learned in our journey through the pandemic and learn to make use of social media to bring the Word of God to our children in a fun and positive way.

Adeline Wong
Understanding the trends of what children these days follow comes from Adeline Wong’s experience with her three growing children. Adeline oversees the social media platforms and content of Harvest Kidz Online and has seen how it has grown in reach and influence.

Growing in knowledge as one grows in faith—that is the essence of the campus ministry run by Bernard and Yoanna Ricardo. In this workshop, you will hear about the experiences and testimonies of the young people who are products of their ministry. Bernard and Yoanna Ricardo are from Indonesia and they came to Singapore for their studies. They've decided to make Singapore and CHC their home. Both are educators, teaching at high school and university, and are currently leading several youth cell groups in CHC.

Connie Yong
Connie Yong is the Programme Manager in Harvest Kidz. She plans and co-ordinates Harvest Kidz’ weekly and annual big events. A talented communicator, she has presented numerous storytelling sessions and dramas. She has also spoken in various churches to present and showcase the curriculum that Harvest Kidz offers.

David Guru
David Guru has been hosting on stage for various Emerge’s activities. During the pandemic, he has been frequently been on Zoom and Instagram hosting live sessions.

Youth camps are usually filled with cheer-leading, banners, games and meaningful activities. In this workshop, discover how two youth Cell Group Leaders led their team to plan and implement youth camps with all those elements—but executed completely online. Learn creative ways to engage your youth members in spite of the pandemic restrictions.

Lim Churn Hoe / Rainft Lin
Lim Churn Hoe and Rainft Lin are experienced Cell Group Leaders leading youth who are on-fire for Jesus. When COVID-19 struck, they decided to venture into the unprecedented and organise the annual youth camp online. Their desire is to engage the youth for the kingdom of God and see them grow in the Lord.

Pastor Lynn Tan
Ps. Lynn Tan is an Associate Pastor in Harvest Kidz. A lawyer by training, Ps. Lynn has a passion in helping children and families. She oversees 250 children and is in charge of the Smartkids Tuition Programme and curriculum for children aged 7 to 10 years old. Ps. Lynn is part of the CityFamilies Committee and conducts parenting and pregnancy workshops in church as well as marriage mentoring. She is also a certified grief recovery specialist.

CHC’s children’s ministry, HarvestKidz, runs weekly online service for children 4 to 12 years of age. In this workshop, find out how to lead young ones in a time of praise and worship on screen. Discover the do’s and don’ts of conducting vibrant praise and worship for children whether you’re together in person or online.

Regina Kam
Certified by the London College of Music’s Grade 8 Distinction and trained by international Vocal Coach Amanda Colliver, Regina Kam teaches vocals to children, adults, backup vocalists and aspiring singers. She regularly leads Praise & Worship in both CHC’s English services and Harvest Kidz services.

Entering one’s teenage years can be a challenging time, and not all children are prepared for the life change. How do you usher the 12-year-olds from your Children’s Ministry into your Youth Ministry or Main Service smoothly and successfully? In this workshop, learn how CHC does this through an intentional and purposeful integration process.

Seah Eng Wee
Seah Eng Wee has been a Pastoral Supervisor with Harvest Kidz for the past 12 years. Working closely with the CHC’s Emerge (Youth) team, he has helped to integrate the pre-teens from Harvest Kidz to the Main Service and Cell Groups.

Understanding what persons with IDD are like is essential to serving them effectively. This workshop will touch on the characteristics of persons with IDD and the various modes of reaching out to them meaningfully. The curriculum is relevant to church leaders who wish to start a ministry for persons with IDD or are presently involved in serving persons with IDD.

Adiel Choy / Santhi Singaram
Adiel Choy and Santhi Singaram are part of the pastoral team in CHC that serves the JAMs (Jesus for All Minds). Both having served for more than 25 years, they have vast, practical experience conducting effective worship services, writing Bible lessons, formulating relevant outreach programmes and organising meaningful connections with families of persons with IDD.

Some people have never had a birthday celebration, maybe because they don’t have the means to do so. In this workshop, hear the story of how The Blessing Project came about and learn how this very special ministry celebrates the birthdays of children from low-income families, as well as persons with special needs, with a cake and a gift.

Catherine Lee
Pastoral Supervisor, Catherine Lee, was an adopted child who never had a birthday celebration until she came to CHC at the age of 15. The Cell Group she was a part of celebrated her birthday and this simple gesture touched her deeply and left an impact in her life. Because of this, Catherine, now a mother of three, has initiated of a “The Blessing Project” to spark joy and spread warmth to underprivileged children and persons with special needs.

This workshop will address the qualities needed in a volunteer who would like to serve people with IDD. This workshop is particularly relevant for ministry leaders who are seeking to grow their pool of volunteers, and for anyone who is looking to serve or help people with IDD.

Pastor Lily Yong
Ps. Lily Yong is an Associate Pastor in CHC who oversees the JAMs (Jesus for All Minds) Service. She leads a congregation of 300 persons with IDD, conducting weekly worship services with a strong committed group of volunteers. With 25 years of experience in the ministry, Ps. Lily has spoken in many workshops and conferences both locally and in Indonesia.

Annabel Soh
Annabel Soh serves as a Vocal Supervisor in CHC and she oversees the Vocalist & Choir Ministry. As one of the church’s main songleaders, Annabel has been involved in more than 10 music album productions by CHC and served as one of the Vocal Producers in various Easter and Christmas productions. She has a desire to empower and equip the next generation in their gifting and ministry.

How do you write a Praise and Worship song that captures the heart? This workshop reveals the art of composing songs with heart that effectively convey a believer’s passion for Jesus. Learn the foundation, from the process of melody construction to writing lyrics and refining them.

Caroline Tjen / Lee Seow Ting
Caroline Tjen serves as a singer-songwriter in CityWorship at CHC. Her songwriting journey began in 1991 and was first featured in album produced by an Indonesian church based in USA. Ever since then, her portfolio of original compositions has grown. Her song “Come Holy Spirit” has been translated to more than seven different languages and sung by many churches around the world.
Lee Seow Ting serves as a Cell Group Leader and is part of CHC’s Choir Ministry. She has a passion for songwriting and enjoys composing songs out of her personal devotion to God. Her most popular compositions include “Pure As Gold” and “How Much Do I Love You”.

Jessel Yam is a Music Director in CityWorship who oversees the musicians serving in the ministry and is involved with the mentorship, rostering, training and development of musicians in CityWorship. Finding great joy in sowing into the next generation of musicians, he has spent the last 10 years training and mentoring the musicians in the Emerge Band & School Of Theology (SOT) Worship Teams. Alan Chan is also a Music Director in CityWorship at CHC and he manages the recruitment, training and development of the musicians in the ministry. He also specialises in the arrangement of multi-tracks on softwares like Ableton for the band’s live music production.

Teo Poh Heng / Amos Ang
Teo Poh Heng (affectionally known as “Brother Poh”) was the first Music Director of the church and instrumental in setting up the worship team in the early days. He currently serves as a Worship Leader, Musician and Song-Writer in CityWorship. He also oversees the Guitar Ministry and serves as a mentor to the Worship Teams in the Chinese Service and the School of Theology (SOT).

Amos Ang is currently a full-time staff in CityWorship at CHC. He is a mentor to the songleaders in the Emerge Worship Team; providing training, skills and spiritual development for the singers.

Ian Tan recently interned at Singapore’s No. 1 English Radio station (Class 95) as a producer. With passion and talent, he serves actively on and off stage and is a familiar face amongst the youth.

Pamela Koh
Pamela Koh is the Founder and Lead Counsellor of ThriveSg-“Thrive Significantly”, a counselling arm of Cru Singapore with a mission to champion a growth mindset towards counselling; to overcome the stigma around mental health and help young people to thrive significantly in life. She is a registered counsellor and clinical member with the Singapore Association of Counselling. She is also a specialist in working with all kinds of trauma and certified as an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing) Therapist.

Ps. Lin Junxian has been serving as a full-time pastoral staff in City Harvest Church for the past 13 years. He holds a MDiv from Trinity Theological College, Singapore. He is currently serving as an Associate Pastor overseeing 17 Cell Groups and is also the worship pastor of CityWorship. Pastor Junxian is married to Dawn Lee, who is the Personal Assistant to the CEO of the church. They are married for 20 years and have 2 teenage daughters.

Pastor Tan Yah Lan
Ps. Tan Yah Lan is an Associate Pastor at CHC. Among her many hats, she finds it extremely fulfilling as she leads married couples to reconciliation and a renewed love for each other.

Many families are plugged into persistent digital worlds. With digital devices, children and youth face challenges to stay focused in academics and other real-life pursuits, while parents grapple with managing screen time and media use for their families, often ending in meltdowns and frustration.

This programme draws from scientific research on the impact of digital exposure on child development, academic learning and social relationships. Parents will gain insight on addictive design of devices and applications, and learn practical handles to manage digital devices in their children’s lives.

Poh Yeang Cherng
Poh Yeang Cherng is Principal of Kingmaker Consultancy Pte. Ltd. and pioneer of Singapore’s cyber wellness movement. He has developed the national framework for cyber wellness values and best practices, training multiple commercial entities to promote cyber wellness through public education.

In 2006, Yeang Cherng set up Singapore’s first Cyber Wellness Centre, developing and validating treatment protocols for pathological video gamers. To date, his programmes have reached more than 1,000,000 in the last decade, including students, educators, parents and partners.

Participants will find nuggets of wisdom on how to stay happy, healthy and pure while dating. This workshop will touch on the do's and don'ts in a courtship; as well as boundaries, responsibilities and commitment.

Rev. Bobby Chaw
Rev. Bobby Chaw is one of the Executive Pastors in CHC, the dean of SOT, and the Missions Director of the church. He overseas the Chinese Service and preaches regularly in both the English and the Chinese services.

The Bible reveals to us the importance of a family. Marriage matters matter. In this workshop, Ps. Wu Yuzhuang will be addressing both the roles of the husbands and the wives, and how to build a lasting and enjoyable marriage.

Rev. Wu Yu Zhuang
Often described as encouraging and inclusive, Ps. Wu Yuzhuang is a Pastor (Division) at CHC who is known to his members for his relatable and caring nature. His division consists of youth, young adults and families. He is married to Ps. Audrey for 23 years and has 3 wonderful children.

Establishing a routine of family devotions may not be easy. With school, work, activities and appointments, it is difficult to keep up the habit as a family. However, with perseverance and some creativity, this can be possible. Learn how family devotions can open the door for meaningful conversations with your children, especially with teenagers. Learn how to take Scripture and help your children connect it to their lives or what they are experiencing in school.

Tan Boon Leng / Goh Chwee Suan
Tan Boon Leng and Goh Chwee Suan are both educators and members of CHC’s Chinese Service. They are parents to five wonderful children from age 2 to 15.

In this workshop, you will learn some basic methods to reinforce positive behaviours in children with autism. Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) is a therapeutic intervention for individuals with autism. It uses positive reinforcement to help them improve in their social interactions, learn new skills and maintain positive and appropriate social behaviour.

Alicia Lim
Alicia Lim has worked with children from various backgrounds, cultures and ages. She believes in a dynamic approach to helping young children and individuals with special needs to reach their highest potential. Before embarking as a full-time staff in CHC, she was a behavioural therapist working with a wide range of children behavioural issues including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Down Syndrome and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and other related disorders.

Ariel Lin
Ariel Lin and her husband, Roger, founded an IT start-up in 2015 when they were both University sophomore students. Through overcoming challenges and by the blessings of God, they now manage over 70 staff across Singapore, Malaysia, China and Taiwan.

Inner healing is essential in one’s journey toward wholeness in Christ. This workshop helps you understand and identify open doors in a person’s life that could lead to hurts and emotional bondage. You will learn simple and effective steps to minister inner healing and deliverance to yourself and to others.

Catherine Tey
Catherine Tey is an active minister in inner healing and deliverance with CHC’s Liberty Ministry. She has conducted inner healing ministry and taught steps to freedom to groups of people including churches from the Philippines and NE Asia.

This workshop will help you to understand mental health as a continuum and to equip you with the five ways of wellbeing.

Eliora Chiam
Eliora Chiam is a full-time staff in the Chinese Service department at CHC. As a Cell Group Leader for 12 years and in the Greeters Ministry for 14 years, she has a burden for the well being and overall success in her members’ lives. Thus, she has been equipping herself in these areas to help serve them better.

Dementia is a brain deterioration that is not a natural part of ageing, and it is a disease that affects 55 million people in the world. This workshop will help you understand what dementia is, and the ways you can minimise risk or delay its development. You will also learn how to build effective communication skills with elderly persons who suffer from dementia.

Eunice Tan
Eunice Tan has been working with the Dementia Singapore Ltd (formerly known as Alzheimer’s Disease Association) with over 25 years of experience in dealing with the elderly. She has vast experience in pioneering enrichment programmes for persons with dementia.

Ageing is a natural process for everyone. This workshop helps you understand the biological, psychological and social aspects of ageing, and how this affects the elderly. You will also have the opportunity to learn about the different types of elderly you might encounter during visitation, and you can pick up some tips on engaging and communicating with them.

Lau Lee Pai
Lau Lee Pai graduated from Singapore Polytechnic with a diploma in Optometry and later on, she decided to pursue her vocation in social work. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Singapore University of Social Sciences and she has 12 years of experience working with the elderly. She is currently a social worker in a non-profit organisation.

Having to cope with multiple roles, being a new mother in these current times can be challenging. This workshop serves to share practical tips and experiences on how one can exercise self care in the midst of balancing and harmonising the different assignments God has entrusted you as a mother, a working mother and someone who is constantly multi-tasking.

Lee Seow Shi, Summer
Summer Lee is a mother of three children. She is a Cell Group Leader at CHC and co-leads nine young adult Cell Groups with her husband. She is living out her passion in helping individuals and young families in their financial portfolios.

What is counselling and what is the importance of it? From this workshop, you can understand the function of counselling in our Christian faith and why Christians may also need counselling. Lastly, this workshop teaches you to find the balance between counseling and faith in our life and work.

Leng Chin Fai
Leng Chin Fai is the Senior Consultant of Fei Yue Family Service Centre and Fei Yue Community Services. He graduated from National University of Singapore with a degree in Accountancy and went on to obtain his Master Degree in Business Administration with NUS and the Master Degree in Counselling with ChiNan University Taiwan. He has more than twenty years of counseling experiences.

Participants of this workshop will learn how to identify signs and symptoms of schizophrenia spectrum and other psychotic disorders. Topics covered will include communication and helping strategies in engaging persons with such mental health conditions.

Dr. Nicodemus Lim
Dr. Nicodemus is an Executive Director with one of Singapore’s largest social services agencies. He is experienced in the fields of mental health, child protection and elderly work.

This workshop aims to empower participants to understand the effects of stress and anxiety, and still thrive in spite of it. Participants will be equipped with coping strategies to mitigate the symptoms of stress and anxiety.

Pastor Veronica Tang
Ps. Veronica Tang is an Associate Pastor and counsellor in CHC. She has done pastoral counselling in the last 11 years, working with youths, married couples and families. She is part of the CHC Counselling Department doing clinical counselling for members with mental health issues.

This workshop will enable you to identify with the symptoms of depression in self and others, as well as strategies on how to cope with depression.

Rev. Audrey Ng
Rev. Audrey Ng is known for her compassionate and pastoral nature. She heads CHC’s Liberty Ministry and Counselling Ministry which provides Christian counsel, prayer and deliverance to members of the church. She also pastors a zone in CHC.

Children often struggle to express their emotions verbally and accurately, as they have not reached maturity in these areas. As a result, they may display challenging behaviour. In this workshop, learn how to use reflectives to mirror a child’s emotions and connect to his inner world. Every child has the potential for healthy emotional development—discover how to help him maximise it.

Wendy Wong is a Pastoral Supervisor in Harvest Kidz with over 23 years of experience working with children. She oversees the running of the Harvest Kidz weekend service, activities and curriculum programme for the 11 to 12 year-old pre-teenagers.

Agnes Soh
Agnes Soh is a Pastoral Supervisor in CHC and is actively involved in pastoral care, discipleship and helping members in their spiritual development.

In this class, you will learn how to discover your spiritual gifts and simple steps to develop them. All you need is what God has placed in your life, and faith, to discover your spiritual gifts.

Anson Ang
Anson Ang is a Pastoral Supervisor in Harvest Kidz. He is gifted with artistic talent and creativity, using his interest to draw stories, create props and build stage decorations to bring the children to a whole new world with God.

Chiong Xiao Ting
Chiong Xiao Ting is a full-time Interpreter/Translator in CHC, as well as a Cell Group Leader for many years. Having grown up in church, Xiao Ting’s rich ministry experience enables her to help many people, especially in the areas of deliverance and personal freedom.

In this workshop, participants will study biblical examples and principles, be encouraged by personal life's experiences, and have open, honest conversations about how to be a pastor’s wife.

Cindy Ng
Cindy Ng is one of the pioneering members of CHC and has been serving in full-time ministry for the past 28 years. She is happily married to Ps. Bobby Chaw for 22 years and is currently assisting him in the running of the Cell Groups under his care, both from the Main Service and the Chinese Service. Cindy also manages the operations of the School of Theology.

In our journey as believers, as we imitate Christ in His love for people, we also need to imitate His forgiveness unto others. It is possible to break free from past hurts, release forgiveness, and experience the freedom that Christ has in store for us.

Dorcas Xu
Dorcas Xu is a full-time staff in CHC, helping out in the School of Theology. With her Christian upbringing, Dorcas came to know Jesus at a very young age and has developed a close walk with the Lord. She is a Cell Group Leader overseeing and discipling the members under her care.

This workshop aims to help anyone who desires to start a habit of reading the Bible in a time of personal devotion. Participants will learn to mediate on Scripture and make time to delve deeper in the Word.

Ian Chong
Ian Chong is a Pastoral Supervisor in CHC. Over the years, he has developed a voracious appetite in books and he reads widely from different kinds of genres. Ian strongly believe that Christians should love God in their body, soul, spirit and their mind.

In this workshop, we will discuss the role of the Holy Spirit and explore the biblical evidence of speaking in tongues as a result of the baptism in the Holy Spirit. We will also learn how to pray for others to receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit.

Josephine Lim
Josephine Lim is a Pastoral Supervisor in CHC, leading youths and young adults. She is also a certified counselor.

In the hustle and bustle of today’s busy society, there is a need to just “be still” in the presence of God. In this workshop, participants will learn the benefits of spending time alone with God, and how to do a solitude checklist.

Justin Chiang
Justin Chiang is a Pastoral Supervisor in CHC’s Dialect Service. He has been serving in the Choir Ministry for the past 22 years, and also leads worship in the Dialect Service.

Kelvin Tan and Cynthia Chua lead a zone of 120 youths and young adults. They have been Cell Group leaders for more than 15 years, and have been actively applying CHC’s “Caring System” with genuine love and care that draw people to Jesus.

Rev. Kenneth Sim
Rev. Kenneth Sim is known for his heart for missions and has an effective ministry of outreach and evangelism in the mission field. With extensive experience in disaster relief efforts, Rev. Kenneth has led many medical teams to tsunami and earthquake-stricken places such as Banda Aceh (2004), Sichuan (2008), Haiti (2010), Japan (2011), Philippines (2014), Nepal (2015) and Palu (2018).

Rev. Yong Te-Chong
Rev. Yong Te-Chong runs the Hospitality department in CHC. He was one of Pastor Kong’s first disciples back when they started a Cell Group together. Having been with the church since Day One, Rev. Yong is a faithful son of the House.

This workshop teaches you fast tricks for basic makeup and provide tips on how to maintain your makeup, even while wearing a mask. These skills will help you to look presentable on stage, in front of the camera or on Zoom.

Lavigne Shi
Lavigne Shi is a certified makeup artist from Cosmoprof Academy since 2016. She has been doing makeup for bridal shoots, photo shoots, weddings, filmings, drama productions, etc. She is an active volunteer serving in CHC’s Makeup Ministry.

Evangelyn Sim started her floral arrangement journey as a hobby in 2014. From a hobby, it turned into passion. Today, Evangelyn conducts flower class for adults and children. The workshop welcomes anyone from all walks of life who appreciates flowers and beautiful art.

This workshop aims to inspire participants to start a habit of reading. Participants will get an insight into different genres of books, from theology to Church History; from the early Saints to the must-read topics; as well as books from the puritan’s era.

Steven Toon
Steven Toon is an engineer by profession and a student at the Biblical Graduate School of Theology (BGST) in Singapore, pursuing a Master of Divinity in Christian Studies. His passion for reading began in 2015 and since then, he has discovered the joy, benefits and necessity of reading widely and reading good books by authors who have gone before him in many arenas. He believes that reading is not only necessary for language and communication improvement but also a means to develop critical thinking skills and maturity in thought.
