On Earth As It Is In Heaven
Hi Leaders,
Glory.
Isaiah 6 tells us how the glory of God came in such a tangible and overwhelming manner that “the train of His robe filled the temple” and the entire place literally shook! And from the passage, we see that when the glory of God manifests, there are always 3 consequences:
- Repentance— “I am doomed, for I am a sinful man.”
- Forgiveness — “Now your guilt is removed, and your sins are forgiven.”
- Conviction — “Here I am. Send me.”
I believe that God’s glory has never left City Harvest Church. And over the last 8 years, He has led us through the effects of His glory upon us. We have travailed through our season of repentance … we have experienced refreshing in a time of His grace and forgiveness … and now, we find ourselves entering a doorway of powerful conviction and purpose in Him.
This has been so evident through the new work that we sense God doing within our church — in our meetings and in our hearts. Through the last two weekends, as we re-focused ourselves to build our King’s domain here on earth as it is in heaven, and re-aligned our hearts to seek spirituality above all else, I can sense the glory of God drawing City Harvest deeper into His perfect plan for our future!
More and more, we see the overflow of His love and freedom here with us. My heart is truly exploding in anticipation for all that God has prepared for CHC in the days ahead! I really love the verse that Ps. Ming shared during the All-Night Prayer Meeting last Wednesday:
“Listen! It’s God raising his voice! By his power he stills sea storms, by his wisdom he tames sea monsters. With one breath he clears the sky, with one finger he crushes the sea serpent. And this is only the beginning, a mere whisper of his rule. Whatever would we do if he really raised his voice!”~Job 26:11-13, MSG
What we are experiencing is but a mere whisper of our King’s rule. Let’s contend together for MORE!
